Piece by piece the Craft Council of Newfoundland and Labrador is dedicated to creating a new and improved Community Clay Arts Studio.

The province’s only public-access clay studio has opened its doors to aspiring and professional potters and sculptors for more than twenty years. The studio has been instrumental in developing clay arts as a viable player in our cultural industry, and has helped our artists achieve national and international success.

Now we are moving towards an exciting new chapter in our history, brought about by our own success and the demands of a growing community. A new studio will provide opportunity to expand both community and professional programming.

Our studio is bursting at the seams and requires a bigger space (3000 sq. feet). We are in the process of scouting a suitable location.  Our goal is to raise $150,000 towards design, architectural renovations, moving costs and new equipment.

What do we need? $50 per square foot!
