The term Mug Up was used in coastal communities by the mid-1800s to describe a break throughout the day or evening. It also means to study intensively over a specific subject. For Newfoundlanders and Labradorians, a Mug Up means to stop
what you are doing and have a cup of tea, take a break and enjoy good conversation.
This show is about celebrating this break, with one-of-a-kind tea cups, mugs, teapots and all of the comforts that go along with them.
