Pottery Intro (Handbuilding & Wheel Throwing) – 8 nights
Through a hands-on approach, students will be introduced to the basics of hand building, wheel throwing and glazing. This is a class dedicated to helping beginners take their first steps to creating with clay. This course will include visual introductions, demonstrations, and useful techniques including the properties of working with clay and green ware. Participants will explore techniques necessary to create basic pottery forms by hand and includes at least two classes introducing the students to throwing pots on the pottery wheel.

Price: $275 + $25 Materials & Supplies Fee + HST
Note: Our materials and supplies fee includes use of all studio equipment and tools, glazes, and bisque and glaze firings, and 5 kg of clay per person. Students requiring more than 5 kg of clay can purchase additional clay at $25 per 5 kg.
